Clouds
The appearance of clouds look white due to the sunlight from above reflecting from them. Like a mirror does. If the cloud is very thick and heavy, the sunlight is scattered from above and the clouds look grey or black.
Fun fact:
There are lots of clouds which can be found in the atmosphere and these are
- High-level clouds (5-13 km): cirrocumulus, cirrus, and cirrostratus.
- Mid-level clouds (2-7 km): altocumulus, altostratus, and nimbostratus.
- Low-level clouds (0-2 km): stratus, cumulus, cumulonimbus, and stratocumulus.
